National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH)

The National Professional Qualification for Headship is a nationally accredited programme
delivered by trained facilitators from Lawrence Sheriff School. The newly reformed NPQH qualification is for those who are, or are aspiring to become, a headteacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school.

The programme incorporates:

  • Personal learning and reflection
  • Self-study of revised modular materials
  • A whole school development project and written assessment
  • A partner school placement and written assessment
  • Support through the programme by a sponsor from your school

There will be an intro session on Friday 25th January 2019 from 9.30am until 12.30pm, then Face to Face sessions will take place from 10am until 3pm on the following Fridays: February 8th, March 8th, April 5th, May 10th, June 7th and July 5th. There will be a Final Assessment session on Friday 4th October 2019 from 9.30am until 12.30pm
